inside the new 'studio' (i use that term very loosely)
there is quite a bit to be done
and it looks like another artist
was there before.
no heating,
no electricity,
but it's a space to work in

and keep all this
well, as much as i can squeeze in.

oh, wow, LOOK at that potential!!

I love it that you have your own studio space. I mean, I have the spare room, but I'd LOVE the garage! But it's not plumbed and there's no heat. can't deal with that right now. But eventually....

Oh wow - plenty to do then!!! Warmth would be good at this time of year! But a great place to put all that stuff until it gets a little bit warmer - snow on the way here they say!!

i think it's great to have raw material, a space to build up entirely. and how many stories one can imagine about that space!

so much potential - my space very similar - a shed - we have two extension cords that run power from an outside source on the main house and then I can power my lights and little heater - I have to take water to my studio, but that has never been a problem - what I love best is that I can make a huge mess and it doesn't matter! and believe me, I can make a mess! I've worked in my space for almost 5 years!

No this is so romantic, you can smoke gauliose and sip absynthe ad you toss paint around and sing in a bad voice...

that small room is the culmination of all my dreams... you have to shre nmore of the story...

my sig other has a garage / studio / woodshop and I am so grateful for it because it cuts back on my stumbling over tools, paints, buckets, canvasses and the like. the worse case is when I nearly tripped over a dremmel saw. artists need lots and lots and lots of work room. congrats! for you and maybe your loved ones too. : )

great blog, glad I stopped by.

Looks like my collection of stuff, but a piece of art in itself! Did u see the exhibition of photographs at the Henry Moore library of artist studios?

Your photograph of the window sill and the paintbrush is very moving too me. Good luck with the cleaning and arranging, but the feeling is already great! Roxanne
