It's been a while

It's about nine months since I last posted something here.
My Dad died a few weeks after my last post and my world has changed.
I was thinking about posting again here and thinking about what to upload
and then I found some pictures on my Dad's camera.
He liked cycling around the countryside around his home and often took his camera.

Thank you for all the kind comments and messages I've received around here,
I hope to be around a bit more from now on.

Hello Kate,

Sorry to hear about your Dad, looking at his photographs he obviously appreciated the beautiful and simple things in life :-D I would get some these printed on canvas.

Glad to see that you are back in the blog world

My condolences on your loss. I lost my father 4 years ago, it was a seismic and cosmic shift in my world. Your Dad's pictures are lovely, and what a gift to get to see a bit of the world through his eyes after he's gone. Thanks for sharing them.

I clicked over here from A Million Universes' blogroll, it's lovely to meet you.

Hi Kate. I'm sad to hear of the loss of your father. The photos you posted are wonderful. The ducks in the water really tickled me for some reason. Brought a smile to my face. I've been thinking of you and your lovely inspiring art work - as I have just returned to blogging myself.
Hugs across the miles to you.
Mistie

So sorry to hear of your loss Kate - love the discovery and sharing of the photos which I am sure really supports the grieving process - take care of yourself

Sorry to hear about your loss - it's just a awakening experience when one loses a parent - I've gone through the same thing losing my mother two years ago, and my father is in the nursing home with dementia...I've been clearing out his dark room and my mother's artwork, scanning hundreds of vintage family photos, and I've just been overwhelmed by it all and it's a struggle to be creative. It does get better. Slowly, it does. Hang in there, take care of yourself!

So sorry to hear of your father's passing. His pictures are wonderful. Hugs to you and I did finally frame and hang the little piece you sent me months ago. I'll send a snapshot...It goes perfectly in my blue bedroom.

Best to you.

Hello Kate,

I thought I left a comment here months back. I just wondered how you were doing and you have my condolences once again.
