african images

i was lucky enough to spend three years working in the rural areas and townships in Limpopo Province in South Africa. these are a few sections of some artwork i did based on my memories of my experience there. i think it's a theme i'll come back to when i have more time.

Evocative images and such lovely texture to your pieces. Your time in Africa must have been an amazing experience...what were you doing there?

Kate, I came across your blog via Sarah's soul journaling (which I'm playing catch up on...) but your pantings are beautiful. They awake such emotion!
