can't believe it's been a whole week since i've been here....work has cranked up a notch and things have been a bit hectic to say the least. Anyway, here's a few cyanatypes (have i spelt that right? I dunno) and now I'm off to check up on what I've missed over at your place.

I had begun to wonder where you had got too. Hope you are keeping your head above water - glad to know you are OK.

Lovely cyanotypes! Did you do these?

these cyanotypes (however that's spelled) are on fabric? they're very cool. how do you do them? (i can work on one when i'm not painting, collaging, or scrumbling : )

Kate! - I'm with Lynne - so glad you are back - I love these images - I had no idea what a 'cyanotype' was, so had to do a little research - lovely

I like the annunciation quality of the white dress and the St. elmo's fire in the second piece.

hey folks - yes Kari i did these (a while ago) - Lynne - you can either buy fabric or paper already coated in cyanotype chemicals or buy the chemicals separately. Then you put something on top like a leaf, lace or a photographic negative and expose it to light. Then you wash the chemicals off and you are left with an image.

cyan O types, but who cares... I love them..again a tricky thing you can do. Your sleeve must be long, grrl, because you pull so much out of it. Oh, and btw. The long lost bloody doll is on it's way. Slack me.

Love your cyanotypes. Have been on an interesting internet journey to find out how you did them. Makes me want to do something monochrome.
