Ms H, you are at work and in the zone. They are positively reeking with texture and urban-ness. And I like the random proportions. So did you make the collage, THEN copy x a million times?
These are amazing and would make lovely panels/illustrations in their own right. It's great to see the photo of the whole thing too, can't imagine working at that scale. Did you plan it out in advance or did it grow as you made it?
becky - no i didn't plan it - i just messed around - it was for a college project where we were meant to be doing something abstract from some pen and ink lanscape drawings we had done and then isolating areas and enlarging them - but i just went with patterns and textures that i liked really.
