evidence of an orderly person

It might be hard to believe it when you look at this but in my head I am convinced that I am an orderly person - I mean I can write lists. I'm surprised i don't even have lists of lists. Look at this one at the front of last year's holiday sketchbook. Can you see how neatly I have crossed everything off?

and look how neatly I packed everything
into my little art bag ready for the journey.
This is evidence of
extremely organised behaviour and a good reason
why my (for the time being nameless friend)
shouldn't have my number in her moble phone under
Ms Clutter.

Look, the sketchbook was even divided up
into sections surely proving that
i am a meticulously organised being.

On line courses seem to be the rage and I bet
you'll all be lining up for my lessons in how to
live a life like this.

Ah, we are just visual people. If we can't see it, it doesn't exist. I'm a pile person not a file person. But I know where stuff is! I use the clear plastic boxes salad greens come in for storage. That way I can see what I'm looking for. And yes, your lists are evidence that you are organized - in your fashion! I was thinking an artist book of random receipts (some with art ideas written on them!) and lists would be a slice of my real life!

Hi there! Albert Einstein once said, "If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, then what are we to think of an empty desk?" Your lived in studio is just a testament to an artistic life LIVED! I think a lot of artists are organized when and where they want to be ... but for us, creating is more important than cleaning! :-)

By the way, I've nominated you for The Circle of Friends Blog Award as part of my first blogoversary celebration. I appreciate your frequent visits and comments! It means so much!

I think it may be safe to assume that either un-named friend has a great sense of humor OR knows something the rest of us don't. hehe ... I'm leaning toward the former. :)

bet you make one rockin teach!
