what was i thinking?

yesterday i posted about finding long lost artwork and good feelings associated with that - today i experienced different feelings when i found these 'pages' of a clay 'book' i made. when i made them i thought they were ok but now they give me the creeps! it's good to stand back from your art isn't? a few years away from these has given me a whole new perspective on them [YUK]

now that made me giggle.. You are far from being alone, some art is meant as a marker to tell you how far you have come.
I am clearing out a garage of art, used by both me and my partner. There are some "beauties" in there.. not..Your pages remind me of cow manure that has been trodden on.. or long lost archaeological finds dug from some exotic place

that's so weird that you mention cow dung as this stuff was all about africa and the red dirt and i was always fascinated by the women in the rural areas who spread cow dung outside their houses and made patterns in it.

i want to see your garage!

I think these have potential! Hang onto them. Perhaps you will incorporate them into something else sometime down the line. Patience...

Hi, Kate! These clay pages are actually very cool! I can see them recycled and used to embellish the COVERS of "new" art journals...just add some paint! Ok...just a suggestion, however...they are way cool! Missy

Or maybe make them wall pieces, or parts of wall pieces. I love molding into wet clay myself. Everything can be fabric.
